About

Los Angeles Trendlines charts the Los Angeles metro every weekday: a small set of well-regarded public time series (jobs, prices, rents, permits, weather and more), each with a short description and a clearly cited source under the chart.

It covers the Los Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim metropolitan area (California). Every number comes from a public source named under its chart, and a published chart does not change after it goes out.

Los Angeles Trendlines is one of the Metro Trendlines sites: one site for each metro, with a shared method and design. Questions, corrections and ideas: hello@metrotrendlines.com.
